More than a display space. A place to meet, gather, learn and design. A true headquarters on the dynamic international stage of Milan. The new VIVA Porte corporate showroom has been formulated with this goal, an investment undertaken by the company that is already a presence on major world markets with points of sale and flagship facilities. In Milan, VIVA has created not just a showcase, but also a destination for professionals, from architects to interior designer, as a venue of concrete discussion on projects and bespoke solutions.
On the very central Via Visconti di Modrone, the new showroom has been inserted in a building from the turn of the century. The studio Gianluca Tronconi Architetti has created an airy, orderly, almost museum-like space: the room extends lengthwise, exploiting its depth, and the two arched entrances are placed at the opposite perimeters – thus functioning as a connection between Via Visconti di Modrone and Via Marziale.
The refurbishing, organized to incorporate the divider systems of VIVA, has brought to light several original structural features, like the two portals in green marble that split the space into three sections, accommodating the V Pivot doors on each side. The set-up relies on neutral tones to put emphasis on the many door models on view, with large heights and a variety of finishes: from the V1 and V2 swing doors with jambs to the V0, V3 and Como models without jambs.
The displays also include the Como and Bellagio sliding models featuring the lightness of glass, along with Como Closet and VTheca, installed on the wall with a flush opening system. A variegated gallery that presents the functional and vivid aesthetic world of VIVA, with the help of the product partner Valli for the handles.
