Technological products that perform an architectural function within the home. This is the principle on which ADL‘s project was born, with the intention of creating innovative, design-oriented and sustainable solutions that do not give up an attractive and modern aesthetic taste. ADL systems are therefore conceived as architectural components that become real connecting elements, no longer just aesthetic accessories, but objects that can complete spaces, give them character, objects that do not isolate spaces, but divide and unite them at the same time. Whether sliding, folding, flush or hinged, ADL’s creations are the synthesis of equipment technology and the study of materials in order to guarantee high quality performance, both technical and functional, from the increasingly smooth and silent sliding of the doors to the continuous evolution of a fundamental detail: the practicality of each project.

Among the brand’s innovations is the latest Sistema Rototraslante, designed by Massimo Luca, which allows the panels of the composition to rotate on their own wheelbase and actually move up to the wall, all without the need to install tracks on the floor. In this way it is possible to have large panels, up to 130 cm wide, which when open can free up more than 90% of the passage space, while when closed they become a real partition. In this structure, the different materials are perfectly integrated, creating a synergy that gives a linear yet rational result. The profiles are made of extruded aluminum, the glass is available in tempered, laminated and laminated tempered versions, while the crossbars are applied with extreme rigor according to a grid pattern on both sides of the glass.

As in many of the brand’s collections, in the Rototranslating System glass and aluminium are also the fundamental soul of the proposal: the materials come together in a perfect synthesis to create games of light and reflections, illusions, fluid boundaries, refined veils that guarantee privacy and discretion, but with extreme lightness and continuity.

The new system can be used in the various ADL collections such as Mitica, Officina, Deco, Japo and Line, collections that differ in composition and stylistic result. From the Japanese elegance to the graphic interpretation of spaces, from the industrial taste to the preponderance of geometric elements, each line can tell a different story, fully representing the personality of the spaces and the needs of the intended use.
