Meridiani House Milano

Beyond the threshold one enters an intimate, welcoming, familiar domestic dimension – the atmosphere of home. After the entrance comes a large living area, the realm of comfort: spaces for resting, socializing, dining. Everyday dynamism gives way to the private relaxation offered by the night zone, balanced between emotivity and functionality. The protagonists of the décor are combined with a myriad of coordinated complements, accessories that decorate the settings and add character, while the works of art boost the level of sophistication in every interior, in perfect Meridiani style. In this way, the company has imagined a real habitat. And it has been brought to life, completed and developed in multiple areas, to represent an ideal private residence, through the new display format known as Meridiani House, in keeping with a project by the designer and art director Andrea Parisio.

Not a showroom, but a place in which to be immersed in the countless expressive possibilities of the brand, made to measure for hypothetical future inhabitants. Every location – replicable in partnership with international clients and dealers – has been conceived with its own characteristics and an interior design in tune with the style and taste of the host city. The connectors are the brand’s collections, deployed in every setting, thus suggesting complete and coordinated solutions for design professionals and enthusiasts inside an environment offering the context of a real house.

Andrea Parisio has moved forward with the evolution on a larger scale of the concept behind the projectStorie di Case” (Stories of Homes), the book in which Meridiani narrates its particular ability to create collections that reflect unique, distinctive personalities, represented by five model residences, each with its own creative impact. The essence of the Meridiani House is thus an experiential transposition of the concept book, in which to enter, touch, try out and dream.

The debut of the Meridiani House project has taken place with the recent restyling of the apartment in Milan, at Corso Venezia 29: a tribute to Milanese elegance, carried out with extreme delicacy of tones and forms, in a game of balance between iconic pieces and newer developments. The living areas maximize natural light and spaciousness, featuring the sofa collections: Oscar in white and René in pink, along with the Nora chairs, the Hector sofa and the Plinto table in tones of beige and cream. The new Wallis storage cabinet in glossy Cherry lacquer with concave sides has the job of adding an intense, variegated accent to the natural character of the overall allure.

Along the same lines, the Hubert and Judd tables play with tones of green in the dining zone, foreshadowing the outdoor setting that makes room for the Vincent Open Air modular divan and the Fabien Open Air table. Shifting to the bedroom zone, a Wallis in the Sage color is joined by the novel Jeanette chair, while the maxi-headboard of the Tuyo bed wraps three sides of the room with a boiserie effect.

Meridiani House Copenhagen

Next stop: Copenhagen. From Italy to Denmark, the Meridiani House makes its first international appearance in the capital city: a project developed in tandem, in an area of 180 sqm, which takes form thanks to the collaboration between Andrea Parisio, designer and art director of Meridiani, and Christine Callsen, a renowned Danish designer and long-term partner of the brand.

Located to the north of the capital at Hellerup, the new Meridiani House Copenhagen recreates a perfect Danish identity across the five rooms, thanks to skillful use of colors and materials. Warm and enveloping shades of brown and beige, or widespread use of white and finishes in platinized steel, define two living areas in harmonious contrast, while the dining zone is dominated by tones of black, then balanced by the pale tea room. The opposites continue in material terms in the bedroom zone, where the marble top of the bedside units establishes dialogue with the soft padding of the abundant headboard. From Milan to Copenhagen, the Meridiani House offers yet another expression of the brand’s versatility and style, always different but always consistent in their identity.
