The concept studied for the corporate spaces in London, Los Angeles and Miami, all designed by Piero Lissoni, the brand’s art director, comes from the idea of space as a place for storytelling. “The showrooms represent the idea of a shop window that we are slowly developing with Lualdi in the world. It is like a ‘physical’ catalogue, illustrated by the labyrinthine succession of rooms, of doors leading to other rooms, to other little worlds,” he explains.
“We have conceived the new showrooms as an international showcase for our products and our philosophy,” says Pierluigi Lualdi, the company’s CEO. “Meeting places that offer solutions that combine research, technology, craftsmanship and customisation, and that showcase our vision.”
The single-brand showroom in London is located in the heart of Fitzrovia, a lively and cosmopolitan neighbourhood that reflects the character of the brand and is a strategic hub for the company to capture new opportunities, both locally – due to the great untapped design potential in the private residential sector – and internationally.
In Dublin, Lualdi is present in partnership with Minima, a constantly evolving reality that has always been at the side of architecture studios and private individuals for residential and contract projects; the new space features some of the brand’s most representative products.
Present in the United States for almost twenty years, Lualdi has consolidated its distribution network with the recent relocation of the Miami space and the opening of the Los Angeles flagship store, located in the heart of West Hollywood; and in Canada, a fast-growing market for the brand, Lualdi has opened a new showroom in Toronto’s Distillery District in partnership with Black Bread + Jam, one of the freshest and most creative realities in the area.
