Courage and responsibility, imagination and care. These are just some of the values that go into the creative and productive philosophy of Arper. Every single item is formulated in the overall perspective of a “project of living,” in harmony and moving towards new inspirations, leading to the creation of an ecosystem of products aiming to bring out a sense of community, enhancing moments of relation, the value of people and their wellbeing. But the objective is also to make the dual aspects of “smart + working” more efficient and coordinated, in the office or in a residential environment. This is a concept that changes and evolves, in tune with an increasingly flexible, dynamic world in which professional and private spaces are seeking new forms of balance; at the same time, it involves an ideal of sustainability that no longer addresses only the world around us, but also the quality of the time spent in the office, in an appropriate life-work equilibrium.

Arper has translated these reflections into the modular Ralik line, together with the designer Ichiro Iwasaki. Seating, benches and ottomans create infinite solutions, enhanced by a family of complementary tables that generate original approaches to work and relaxation. The result is therefore an elegant, casual concept.

The collection is extremely fluid and dynamic, a tribute to beauty in all its forms, based on aesthetic research that is also manifested in the variety of colors available for the bases and the coverings. The latter are completely removable and recyclable, and the series responds to different multifunctional requirements, thanks to the presence of recharge ports on the seats and tables.

The line is composed of six seating modules – ottoman, seats with backs and benches – all available in two-seater or solo versions, including soft cushions to add to the benches to boost the sensation of comfort. The distinctive features of the Ralik collection include the L-shaped legs in recycled polypropylene, giving the modules a sculptural look.

Every space, every single piece of furniture, fully embodies an idea of wellness and comfort, in the widest sense of the terms. It is the project of a microcosm in which to feel at ease, the design of a world to inhabit with style and humanity.  Space and design mingle to shape a new project approach, in which ideals take on concrete substance through furnishings formulated to sustain a comfortable life in all its many forms.
