One bed, infinite compositional possibilities. This is the extraordinary design idea behind Tuyo, creating a versatile solution for different contexts, ready to adapt to different lifestyles, personalized to meet the needs and tastes of users. The art director Andrea Parisio has packed all the know-how and manufacturing prowess of Meridiani into this creation, in keeping with the company’s tradition: like a haute couture dress, Tuyo takes on shapes and sizes in the making, to represent the multiple expressions of the contemporary night zone in the home.
Not just a bed, then, but a wide-ranging program of double beds whose common denominator is refined attention to detail, a statement of intent manifested in extreme compositional freedom. Headboards, sommiers, bases, but also stitching, materials, coverings, generate great variety from which it is possible to choose, for quality sleep without any compromises.
The modular flexibility of Tuyo starts with the large headboards for attachment to the wall, padded with removable covers, which can also be made to measure: heights of 120cm and 160cm create soft frames that establish a harmonious dialogue with the architecture, even more so when the more traditional lengths (160 – 180 – 200 – 220 cm) are joined by the theatrical 320cm model, or the version with lateral cowhide screens to wrap the bed in an enticing embrace.
The finishes of the coverings are also an expressive focal point: simple and smooth for minimalist settings, with delicate stitching for an elegant look, vertical stripes for modern vivacity, or diamond stitching for a warm traditional touch, all the way to capitonné with its timeless classical impact. The upholstered sommiers offer the same variety, with different heights and forms of workmanship, rigorously divided between floor bases – full, substantial volumes – and models slightly raised, with a lighter, airier image.
The boundless versatility of the Tuyo system exists even when it is not seen, thanks to a large selection of supports – from platforms with staves to orthopedic solutions – which join forces with the structure to create an island of comfort and wellbeing, capable of taking part in new everyday rituals: the bedroom, in fact, is no longer simply the place of slumber, but also of relaxation, work and recreation. With its dynamic nature, Tuyo fully responds to this pluralism.
