The first pop-up store of Very Simple Kitchen

The kitchen start-up opens a temporary shop in the Design Republic store at Piazza Tricolore 2 in Milan

After taking a degree at IED Milano with an outdoor kitchen prototype, Riccardo Randi, like an Archimedes of design, continued to experiment at home, altering worktops, until he constructed what was to become the first prototype of his kitchen start-up. It was an immediate success. So he founded Very Simple Kitchen, at San Lazzaro di Savena, just outside Bologna, a young company with a young target, offering stainless steel kitchen modules of industrial character, flexible, easy to move and assemble, and above all very colorful.

His intuition, besides the approach to the product, was to interact with and rely upon a network of local artisans, specialists in sheet metal to develop and optimize the production of stainless steel modules, painters to perfect the custom coloring system and to have a wide range of available hues, carpenters, specialist in marble and cement, to experiment with increasingly sturdy tops, conducting research on innovative materials to apply to the universe of the kitchen.

Solutions you can discover starting on 28 September during Milano Design City at the Very Simple Pop-Up Store, the first temporary shop of Very Simple Kitchen inside the Design Republic store at Piazza Tricolore 2. In the pop-up it will be possible to directly experience the company’s latest prototypes: the Very Simple Library, a modular bookcase, and the custom shelving of Very Simple Shelves, both in steel.
Together with the team, you can also try out the new online kitchen configurator, to create the compositions of your dreams, combining different modules, colors and counters. The pop-up store will be open from 28 September to 10 October.
