Presotto returns with personality

The historic Friulian company, just a year after the arrival of the Ibla Capital fund, presents itself at Milan Design Week with a new, delicate and refined set up

In its 71st year of life, Presotto is experiencing its deserved second youth after the introduction of the Alessandro Lo Savio fund in 2018 and is reminding the furniture and contract world of its ability to keep on creating allure in the world of furniture, especially in that very crowded segment that expresses contemporary style.

The new ownership saw in Presotto’s history an unexpressed energy and a great deal of potential, the possibility of being successful without overturning the history and skills of a company that has always put its focus on the quality of the product.

And, in fact, the word “respect” is the driving theme of the new wave of Presotto: corporate restructuring, brand policy in Italy and especially abroad (Europe and the United States in the first place), well-defined trade strategy and development of the project area, but without distorting the historical identity of the company, respecting – precisely – the values that had led it to success.

Designed by the Gherardi Architetti studio, Presotto’s showroom has chosen the line of space, without too many solutions being proposed, but ones that are very liveable, observable. There is a sense of relaxation passing from the living solutions to those of the sleeping area, you can appreciate the new upholstered items and let yourself be captivated by the mix of materials – all very rich starting with marble – which, combined with the chosen colours, form a delicate ensemble, but whose value is immediately perceptible.
