The new flagship store opens at Saint-Germain-des-Prés during the days of Maison&Objet, confirming Porada’s role as a key player for the design sector in France

The space in Paris joins other strategic facilities in London, Milan and Cabiate. Porada reinforces its presence in France with a new flagship store at Saint-Germain-des-Prés. In the midst of the design district, the showroom of 429 sqm is organized on two levels, to respond to a market that appreciates the craftsmanship and innovation of a company that has now reached its third generation of family management.

“We are very happy to open this showroom in France, in the city of Paris – says Mauro Nastri, export manager – to consolidate Porada’s presence on the French market. The company already has firm roots in the territory thanks to important projects, and we are certain that the Paris showroom will make Porada a must for lovers of design, architects and interior designers, not just in the capital but in all of France and in other French-speaking countries.” 

The multiple products on display reflect the brand’s ability to adapt to all contexts. The furnishings have been created in a perspective of continuity with the existing collections, with great attention to detail and the quality of the materials, chosen to last in time.

A key role in the installation is played by the Twenty-Two collection. The items respond to the need for durability and solidity, avoiding passing fashions. The spaces of the store in Paris enhance the offerings with their large settings and abundant light, flooding the living and dining areas placed on ground level.

This area of the store also presents the carpets created by Jov, a company with which Porada shares values, an artistic vision and the factor of complete control of the chain of production. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, completed by tenuous hues that become more intense only to underline the Porada logo on a series of material panels.

On the lower level the light becomes softer, more intimate: this is the ideal space for the night zone, with beds, dressing tables and wardrobe cabins, enhanced by discrete, evocative accent lighting. There is also a materials library where customers can directly experience fabrics, leathers, marble and wood varieties… choosing the best finishes for custom projects.

Everything has been organized to suit the sensibilities of an audience with a high level of design expertise, with a strong focus on respect for the environment. Porada, in fact, is committed to responsible use of resources, which in relation to the French territory takes concrete form in the acquisition of a sustainable forestry facility of 2,000,000 sqm in the south of France, yielding the ash wood utilized for the production.
