The Italian firm Calligaris, a member of the Orbital Design Collective, has opened a new flagship store on via Turati in Milan. This marks the beginning of a series of retail locations that will be revisited and adapted to recent developments in the industry.

The store, sprawling 200 square meters and set on three levels, was designed by the Lualdi Meraldi Studio, led by Matteo Lualdi, and is managed by Mo.1950, a commercial entity boasting consolidated experience in the residential design sector, with a network of excellent collaborations and integrated, comprehensive solutions for customers. The new flagship stands out for its brilliant creation of living and dining spaces located on the ground floor and loft.

Here the novelty lies in designer pieces with sought-after textures and chromatic palettes, such as the brick-coloured Venice fabric Ginza sofa, paired with Mashroom coffee tables and the Curved rug. Also present is the Breeze table, a memorable design piece created for the company’s centenary, and the Capsule Collection, which includes, among others, the solid wood Cartesio and Dogma tables and the Sweel and Holy Fab seats.

A distinctive feature is the aesthetics of the ground floor highlighted by the combination of the coffee-colored Wave sofa, the Lake sideboard, and the Rio armchair, enriched by the dining corner furnished with the Vienna straw Adel chair, paired with the Abrey table.

The monomaterial design of the basement introduces us to the showcase of Calligaris’ most iconic tables, paired with various styles of seats, elements that reflect the brand’s heritage.
