Novamobili has chosen Zurich to consolidate its presence in Europe, opening its first international flagship store in a place steeped in history. The 180 m2 showroom, with two large windows, is located in a district that has recently undergone redevelopment.
This is Im Viadukt, a recovered railway viaduct in West Zurich, transformed into an elegant 500 m pedestrian pathway, which houses, under a series of 36 semicircular arches, restaurants, bars, fashion ateliers, design studios, art galleries, bookshops and a covered market dedicated to local products.
As soon as you cross the threshold, elegance immediately meets the most authentic expression of relaxation. The Avenue sofa, in its generous island composition, welcomes guests in an embrace of uncompromising comfort. Its design is a representative symbol of the entire store.
To the side is the Hanami table, offered with a Guatemala green marble top. With its intense colouring punctuated by white veins, it adds a touch of luxury to the setting. The Twist chairs, upholstered in soft upholstery, enrich the table with a blazon of functional elegance, thanks to the solid wood frame that echoes the table’s robust appearance.
The location is organised on two floors: the ground floor is dedicated to the living and sleeping area, while the mezzanine houses a second sleeping area. The company’s wide range of products is displayed in various spaces, allowing visitors to appreciate the quality and versatility of Novamobili’s offerings.
The space designed by Novamobili, in collaboration with Raoul Sanchez‘s interior design studio Visite Privée, has created an environment of refined and welcoming elegance. Circular skylights, anthracite-coloured metal roofing and large windows blend perfectly with original elements such as vaulting and stone walls.
In the loft, Novamobili has created another sleeping area with the Brick bed, with its enveloping look, the Perry corner wardrobe and the Sly module-drawer system. The sofa and armchair from the Kubi collection complete the furnishings, adding a final touch of elegance.
