Versatility is the key word that opens the horizons of contemporary living. Our days are increasingly dynamic, responding to the needs of the moment. Every space is a showcase capable of unveiling unexpected worlds, depending on inspiration and necessity. In this perspective brands also evolve, combining their identity with the characteristics of an age of transformation. As in the case of Cassina Pro, a professional line for offices spaces and the hospitality sector, which reinvents the icons and contemporary pieces of the Cassina collection for contract applications. A wide range of offerings of upholstered furnishings, tables and desks, seating and complements, uniting extreme functional quality with the brand’s distinctive elegance. The results are unusual and fascinating solutions for the world of interior design, reacting to new habitat needs and refined tastes in a residential context.

The products include the Bureau Boomerang by Charlotte Perriand, a timeless icon in a particular boomerang form, without sharp corners, designed in 1938 when the architect created the furnishings for the office of Jean-Richard Bloch. Today the item comes in a modernized version with electrical wiring and new finishes in ash wood – with oak-colored or black stain – or in natural canaletto walnut. The legs in solid wood with sinuous, harmonious lines support an impressive wooden top that can be covered in cowhide or with a desk pad.

The precious details are combined with the unique identity provided by the logo of the Collezione Cassina iMaestri and the designer’s signature, in a striking numbered edition. The desk can be combined with the 10 Bureau de la Semaine à Paris drawer unit by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, adapted in 1930 by Charlotte Perriand.

Another outstanding feature of the collection is the Cab Office  by Mario Bellini, an interpretation of the Cab model, a family of countless personalities, versatile in use and purpose, and thus always in step with the times. First developed in 1977, the seating conserves the details of its identity, like the cowhide available in a vast range of hues including black, Bulgarian red, natural, taupe and brown, and is now offered in many swivel and reclining versions, also with armrests for greater comfort. The chair has a five-spoke base in die-cast aluminium and a blocking mechanisms to adjust the height and the movement of the back. The model has been interpreted in the Cab Office President version, with a high, comfortable back and a headrest, and in the two variants Cab Office Conference and Cab Office Conference Maxi, with a lower back.
