Bonjour, Paris! Magis arrives in the Ville Lumière

The historic Italian brand opens a facility at 264 Boulevard Saint-Germain, in one of the most famous districts of the French capital

Three large windows facing the boulevard that is one of the backbones of the Rive Gauche of the Seine, also described by Marcel Proust in his Recherche: Boulevard Saint-Germain is the location of the new Magis showroom.

Two levels, with interiors by the Lebanese designer Charles Kalpakian, present the creations of the historic Italian brand founded in 1976, which over time has worked with the most outstanding designers on the international scene, such as Konstantin Grcic, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Jasper Morrison, Marc Newson, Ron Arad, Naoto Fukasawa, Marcel Wanders, Stefano Giovannoni, Philippe Starck, Zaha Hadid and Thomas Heatherwick.

Formulated as an intentionally open space based on shades of white and cream, the showroom erases spatial boundaries to establish dialogue between the interior and exterior of the store: from the street, passers-by are almost catapulted into the settings created by the brand. Light, forms and colors produce a modern atmosphere, in an installation totally developed by Magis, which also oversees the management of the point of sale with its own in-house staff.

On the ground floor, a luminous open space mixes creativity and experimentation, socializing and dynamism, in a sequence of domestic settings. The living area interacts with the dining zone, while the corner for reading mingles with workspace, suggesting infinite design languages and encourage exploration with new eyes on the lower level, where iconic pieces and new products furnish the meeting room and an office, in a sort of ideal circular arrangement

The Parisian showroom, created above all for interaction with architects and interior designer, joins two other facilities directly managed by the firm: one in Milan, in the center of Brera, and one in Tokyo, also the location for many years of a corporate headquarters.
