Elie Saab Maison: first Paris showroom

The high fashion brand also brings its home collection to Paris, transferring the same aesthetic codes of its red carpet apparel milestones into the world of furniture design

The fashion designer of Lebanese origin Elie Saab, with Corporate Brand Maison, brings his know-how to the world of furnishings, opening his first showroom in Paris in partnership with AD Home. Not far from the Champs-Elysées, next to the Elie Saab boutique on Avenue George V, Elie Saab Maison fits harmoniously into the Art Deco architecture of the neighborhood. While Beirut is the designer’s home town, Paris is the city that has inspired his creations. “Paris is a special, unique, magical place. It is the place I call home, together with Beirut, where everything began,” the designer explains. “It is an essential stop on a journey that touches on the places I love best where you want to be, rather than having to be.”

Divided into two large rooms, the space has been conceived to present rotating displays of all the products in the Maison collection, including accessories, lighting and carpets seen during the recent opening during the design week in Paris. The styling of the showroom reflects that of the locations in Milan and Beirut, with a number of custom solutions developed by Carlo Colombo, creative director of Corporate Brand Maison, together with his team.

From the marble varieties chosen for the floors to the textile and metal decorations on the walls, every aspect of this space has been formulated to transmit a sense of sophisticated welcome. A large screen surrounded by leather panels with bronze details offers an overview of the home collection, while the mirrored cabinets create theatrical lighting effects. The opening of Elie Saab Maison is part of a wider plan of international growth that will continue in 2022 with 20 more openings in the Middle and Far East, Europe and the United States.
