Mexico City, a metropolis for Boffi

The Central American city is an urban context in constant ferment, which now joins the network built by the company over the years on this continent

With 30 million inhabitants in its metropolitan area, Mexico City is one of the biggest cities in the world. An immense urban aggregation, constantly growing, where Boffi has just set up shop in a space of the design dealer Hajj Designless, now the exclusive distributor for the Italian brand. For the company, this is an entrance in one of the cities where the architecture scene is particularly lively – a strategic presence, alongside the firm’s established network in North America.

The Hajj Designless showroom at Park Plaza (in the Santa Fe district, which takes its name from a 16th-century hospital whose ruins can still be seen) is an evocative place in its own right, where entirely glass walls face a setting of greenery and reflecting pools.

A space of 130 sqm has been set aside for Boffi, in which to display multiple systems: Combine, APR60, Antibes, K6 (the latter with compact, hyper-essential lines). Production that combines design with intense research on materials, such as the marble varieties, the MDi composite (a sustainable material produced by Inalco and utilized for several tops), stainless steel, and sustainable, versatile wood varieties like Abonos Oak and American Canaletto walnut.
