Clan Milano encounters the artistic imagination of No Curves

It is all matter of art and creativity the extraordinary affinity between Clan Milano and NO CURVES. The first is a young furniture brand that loves experimenting and contaminating whereas the second is a philosopher of the tape who creates imaginary world of broken lines and angles, halfway between street art and installation.
Their meeting point? The exhibition “She's a Lady” celebrating 10 years of NO CURVES’ activity who chose Clan Milano as exclusive furniture partner to enrich the space of the Whitelight Art Gallery with a touch of minimal design.

The graphic retrospective – open from 23 November 2016 to 13 January 2017 and curated by Nicolas Ballario – collects numerous new works, iconic pieces and original installations that describe the evolution of the artist's vocabulary through a single common thread: the female figure investigated, abstracted, sublimated by the use of colored tapes geometrically unfolded as pieces of mosaic with an uncommon meaning behind.

Women, fashion, geometric style: this is the trait d’union with Clan Milano furnishing born from the creative genius of Alessandro La Spada (Art Director) and the woodworking mastery of Figli di Isacco Agostoni.

For the exhibition, the brand selected several pieces with outstanding design and elegant finishes; vibrant, contemporary products with hints of baroque and exotic style such as Molecole, a series of staggered tables characterized by a brass tubular structure and marble top; Roca, a low-table with a curious geometric design, glossy ebony finish and brass inserts; Rodrigo floor lamp and Tubo30 table lamp, with brass structure and adjustable spotlight; Loose mirror, mounted on a rotating blockboard wood panel, with a base and back panel clad in leather and shiny brass frame.
