A boutique on Brompton Road, in partnership with Luxury Living Group, and a corner in the Harrods department store. Dolce & Gabbana Casa chooses two locations in London to demonstrate the quality of furnishings that are a natural extension of the creative vision and lifestyle of the brand.
In both spaces, the most distinctive luxury of Made in Italy is expressed not only in furniture, but also in fabrics, decorative objects and tableware. Each category interprets the identifying themes of the collections: from Blu Mediterraneo to Leopardo, Carretto Siciliano to Zebra, all the way to the new DG Logo and Oro24K. The partnership with Luxury Living Group stands out in the process of design, implementation and distribution.
At Brompton Road, the internal space of the boutique relies on a language of contrast to establish dialogue with the important architectural features of the historic building. Pilaster strips, neoclassical columns, architraves and ceiling decorations are juxtaposed with a total black look, widespread use of basalt stone and glossy lacquers.
The elegant material derived from the crafting of volcanic stone returns in the entire floor set aside for the brand inside Harrods. The internal volumes are arranged in a linear, harmonious layout, together with a forceful chiaroscuro effect triggered by black and gray combined with the white tones of the ceilings.
The museum-like lighting system has been formulated to bring out the beauty of the creations on view. A single narrative, in two locations in the city, that places no limits on compositional freedom, to generate domestic spaces filled with style, refined materials and unique design.
