Versatile and advanced, in the usual spirit of Wally, the shipyard that once again is generating changes in the field of yacht design. Part of Ferretti Group, Wally scores its latest goal with the new wallywhy150, a yacht with a pilothouse, a length of less than 24 meters, and a sporty design. The project based on collaboration between the engineering division of the company (for the structure) and Studio Vallicelli Design (for the interiors) offers propulsion options of three IPS1350 motors for maximum speed of 23 knots, or the standard solution of three IPS1200 motors for maximum speed of 21 knots.

The layout is also innovative, providing outdoor spaces with unprecedented proportions for this market segment. The living space is remarkable. The completely open upper deck runs for almost the entire length. Owners and guests can choose to dine on the sundeck, to relax in the large sunbathing area or in the shady lounge.

In the living-dining zone on two levels leading directly to the swimming platform at the stern, the key word is flexibility. It is possible to configure this setting with original and personality, relying on fine materials and finishes. Every yachtsman can have their own unique version.

The afterdeck can be transformed into a true terrace over the sea, with a multiuse staircase and a hydraulic platform. This solution requires intensive engineering to ensure safety and avoid immersion in the water.

The area can be equipped with space for all types of water toys, as well as a large tender measuring 3.9 meters. Wallywhy150 is the first yacht with direct access to the sea at the cockpit level, requiring no ladders, like a loft on the water.

Flexibility is also a constant in the internal layout, reversing the traditional styling of yachts. The incredibly high bow offers a 270-degree panorama for the owner’s cabin on the main deck. A sort of marine amphitheater to gaze at the evocative changes of the sea and sky.

The lower deck can be organized with one VIP cabin, one double guest cabin and one twin, or with two VIP cabins. All are flooded with light, thanks to the large openings that create a fresh, airy atmosphere: a series of full-height glazings that add vivid character to the design.

Another example of an unusual solution, because it requires very thick glass of the type usually applied on yachts of 50 or 60 meters, taking elements incorporated in the structure into account, such as tubes, cables, AC conduits. A demonstration of the high level of engineering and design in the new wallywhy150.
