Always buzzing and proactive, Talenti, the Umbria-based company specialising in the production of furnishing elements for outdoor spaces, has inaugurated a new course of events to support and animate its business strategy. Christened Outdoor Lab Tour, this new concept of itinerant events hosted inside the brand’s flagship stores was conceived under the banner of clear keywords: education and sustainability, outdoor and design.

The first event was held in Palermo, on 8 June, in the evocative setting of Palazzo Pintacuda, the prestigious headquarters of the Longho Design Concept Store showroom. Here, Roberto Palomba has kicked off a series of appointments in which, after him, other protagonists of the contemporary design scene will be called upon to recount, through a case history of products and projects, the keys to a modern, sustainable and successful outdoor space

In front of an audience of architects and experts, Roberto Palomba gave a Lectio Magistralis entitled “Palomba Serafini: The outdoor project”. Divided into four parts, the lecture included an introduction on Studio Palomba Serafini Associati to continue with a focus on the architectural project, yacht design and, finally, product design focusing on the collaboration between the Studio and Talenti which, since 2018, has enabled the creation of collections that are already iconic

“With this initiative,” confirms Edoardo Cameli, commercial director at Talenti, “we want to show architects the very high level that outdoor design can achieve. Those present, who will also obtain training credits for their attendance, will not only witness a didactic moment with one of the most creative minds we have in Italy, but will also be able to touch the novelties in the 2024 catalogue, such as the Venice collection, as well as the sophisticated Salinas or the elegant George, Tribal and Scacco. The modules into which the lesson was divided has allowed participants to analyse the different faces of outdoor furniture.”
