The 2021 collection by Minotti: perfect indoor-outdoor balance

Minotti presents new furnishings: a variegated and detailed collection, ready to interpret domestic spaces with distinctive elegance, while enhancing outdoor zones for a fluid in&out continuum

Indoor collection: material essence and couture details
The American Mid-Century spirit, taken in a modern way, influences the physiognomy and elegance of a wide range of furnishings conceived for interiors, in the 2021 collection by Minotti. A stylistic theme that becomes a design concept, in the creations of a consolidated team of international designers, from Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 to GamFratesi. As well, of course, as Rodolfo Dordoni, who has coordinated the whole collection with Minotti Studio. New volumes and sophisticated forms, amidst architectural references of Rationalism and Brutalism, softened by appealing materials and couture details, incisive graphic forms and sophisticated colors, types of wood and precious stones.

The living area welcomes the Roger seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni, which is versatile and totally innovative, also thanks to its combinations of individual elements, in tune with the Belt family of chairs, also by Dordoni, and the round Lido seating by GamFratesi. The Brasilia and Superquadra families, composed of solutions ranging from the living area to the bedroom zone, bear the signature of Marcio Kogan / studio mk27.
The range of seating of the first includes sofas, linear or terminal modules, armchairs and ottomans, all the way to a versatile solution for the bedroom. The Mid-Century look, forceful architectural volumes and proportions form an evocative tribute to Brazilian modernism. The storage cabinets of Superquadra share an essential design, with a style between classic rationalism and contemporary, combined with a floating image that makes the pieces appear to be suspended, lighter than air.

Studio Collection. Office like home
For 2021 Minotti also explores spaces for study and work, in the office or in the home: the debut of this focus offers a careful selection of furnishings designed by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27. The Linha Studio desk, an evolution of the dining table created by the Brazilian architect in 2020, comes in five sizes, from the suite desk to the larger models for the office. The Daiki seating is now available in an office version, conserving its distinctive curved chassis to precisely contain the cushioning. Finally, the Superquadra table has also been interpreted for use in professional settings.

2021 Outdoor Collection: comfort that is never banal
Confirming the growing aesthetic and functional osmosis between different rooms and outdoor settings, seen as a natural, fluid stylistic progression from the indoor spaces, Minotti presents a versatile collection with an air of nonchalance and lively energy. Again coordinated by the architect Rodolfo Dordoni with Minotti Studio, it features projects created by the brand’s team of international designers, including the Italo-Danish duo GamFratesi, the Japanese studio Nendo and Dordoni himself.

For the first time, after having explored the almost exclusive use of wood at great length – with an accent on iroko and teak – the Lombardy-based company presents a seating system with unexpected matching of different materials: aluminium, steel, wood, basaltina stone and cords. Sofas, armchairs,  chaises longues, chairs and ottomans, enhanced by fabrics from the exclusive textile collection, express a concept of sharing and convivial pleasures, also in the outdoor zones of hotels, marinas and yachts. Furthermore, the range of carpets, side tables and coffee tables in sculptural forms enhances the outdoor collection, generating a surprising landscape that is never banal.
