Symbiotic story

The renovation of the You.Me Design Place hotel in Trieste has been done in close collaboration between the architect Simone Micheli and the company UNO Contract

In tune with guests and their spaces, as indicated by the name: the new You.Me Design Place four-star hotel is located in the center of Trieste. The attunement can also be seen in the work of the architect Simone Micheli, in charge of the whole restyling, and UNO Contract, the company that has produced the custom furnishings created by the designer.

The focus on high quality of materials and attention to detail in every single bespoke piece is based on 35 years of experience in luxury projects, conducted together with outstanding names in international architecture and décor, including the unique style of this designer based in Tuscany.

“A story connected with a new concept of luxury, not made of opulence and redundant geometry, but of simplicity, essence and wonder,” Micheli says. “The colors, like white or pearl gray, become physical substance to be shaped. The precious, refined surfaces, the mirrors that reflect the multiplicity of the meaning of existence, the images that blend past, present and future, become tangible signs, containers of clear messages, which with vibrant technical lighting add character to common areas, while vigorously altering the space inside the guestrooms.”

In the shared zones, the profiled reception counter, the decorative panels of the lobby, the bar cabinets and display cases, the furnishings for the breakfast room with white laminated surfaces and futuristic geometry, all stand out.

The 20 guestrooms are of different types – deluxe, junior suite and suite deluxe – to respond to the different needs of clients, along with a wellness center equipped with a sauna and a Turkish bath.
