Meridiani in the One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid. Luxury in the details

On the 38th floor of the iconic One Thousand Museum, the excellent materials and refined lines of Meridiani match the fluid geometry of one of the most exclusive residences in Miami

A residential project with the impact of a museum, and the legacy of the architectural research driven by the agile, intense, dynamic imaginary of the renowned architect from Iraq, who designed the building in 2012 but did not live to see its completion. The work on One Thousand Museum was finished by Chris Lepine and the studio Zaha Hadid Architects, from 2016 to 2019.

A residential tower of 62 stories, in Miami; a masterpiece of vertical architecture, with a fluid structure, which stands out from the neighboring basic towers for its exoskeleton in concrete and fiberglass. The complex contains 83 very luxurious residential units, with a very high level of services, including a spa on two levels with an infinity pool and a heliport on the roof.

The interior design bears the prestigious signature of Hernan Arriaga, who has relied on an equally authoritative collaboration: with Meridiani. The brand, linked since 2016 to IDB – Italian Design Brands S.p.A., has had an extensive impact on the décor of a residence on the 38th floor. An apartment of 420 square meters, where the offerings of Made in Italy are seen in the indoor spaces and the large terraces. The clean lines and warm textures of fabrics and leathers in the furnishings harmonize with the architectural form of the spaces, sharing in complex, soft geometric lines in ample zones with breathtaking views. The living area offers a welcoming promise of comfort, with the Harold sofa in a large modular setting, alongside Bongo and Ralf tables and the precious Ludwig hexagonal cabinet.

In the dining room the protagonist is the table from the iconic Plinto series, combining a large round top and a plinth in Oro Calacatta marble with an airy structure in black metal. The table is accompanied by the Kita chairs with slightly curved backs and ample seats.

The family room contains the impeccable proportions of the Timothy modular divan, while for the bedroom zone the Tujo bed presents a maxi-headboard. The protagonists of the outdoors are the products of the Claud series in iroko wood, and the Bongo collection of low tables with outer finish in matte lacquer.
