Working with details and subtractions, the Spanish designer Francesc Rifé has created the Beam collection for Oiside, in iroko wood, making it ideal for living areas and outdoor lounges. The exotic wood variety is so resistant to dampness and temperature changes that it is a perfect choice for outdoor use. Tables, chairs, armchairs and settees have been developed in a minimalist style, with the usual attention to detail that has always been part of this Barcelona-based designer’s approach. The ample volumes and linear design stem from a game of planes and sizing of wooden planks, creating a balanced, elegant and discreet image. All the pieces in the Beam collection can be personalized in terms of color and fabrics, and the pieces can be customized to adapt to various projects and spaces.
