150 km of trails, 4 snowboard parks, amidst mountains listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Inside the largest ski area of Trentino, home of international sports competitions, we find the second, new facility of the Lefay Resorts group. One of the largest in the Alps – 5000 square meters – Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti offers guests 88 suites, starting from the 57-meter unit, all the way to the Royal Pool & Spa Suite, measuring 430 square meters, plus 22 private residences (for sale), all directly connected to the services of the resort.
A true jewel of wellbeing, of course, but first of all very sustainable project, fully respecting the place in which it stands. The architect Hugo Demetz has developed the project in keeping with the principles of bio-architecture, while the interior design is by Studio Alberto Apostoli in close collaboration with the Lefay project team. The park around the complex is the creation of landscape designer Patrizia Cappelli. Everywhere, we see ample use of the natural materials of the territory, like spruce and larch wood for the outer facings, oak for the wood floors, chestnut for the furnishings, and the tones of Adamello, a stone with the look of granite used for water troughs in mountain pastures.
The limitation of energy consumption and the use of renewable sources with high-performance production systems have led to ClimaHotel certification, for example due to the choice of a biomass heating system and a cogeneration plant. The objective is the complete neutralization of CO2 emissions, as has already been the case for 5 consecutive years at the Lefay Resort & Spa at Lake Garda. In full awareness of zero-emission environmental impact, the spa overlooking the Dolomites includes an entire level with over 20 cabins for special treatments, including the prize-winning Signatures; the area of the pool is heated all year round, inside and outside. The fitness zone is open 24 hours a day and equipped with the exclusive Artis line by Technogym®.
Finally, the zone containing the pool is composed of 5 areas with different types of saunas, phytotherapy and aroma therapy, and offers hydromassage with water enriched by magnesium salts. All accompanied by fascinating views of the mountains, reflected in bodies of water and glazings carefully developed to amplify the green hues of the landscape, or the dazzling white of winter.
