GandiaBlasco and breathtaking views of Beverly Hills

The outdoor furniture collections of the Spanish brand fit perfectly into the exclusive spaces of Carla Ridge, the residential project by Noah Walker that reaches its tentacles into the natural setting

Carla Ridge stands at the top of an isolated crest overlooking Los Angeles and the hills topped by the famous Hollywood sign. Completed in 2019, the residential project by Walker Workshop, the local firm helmed by architect Noah Walker, takes charge of the extraordinary location by way of a dialectic indoor-outdoor relationship of interaction between architecture and landscape.
An abstract organization of solids and spaces, strategically oriented to offer striking vantage points, connects two lateral portions with a lower central volume featuring motorized sliding glass doors, containing the living area, kitchen and dining room.

The bedrooms, located in the two-story wings, are accessed by means of wooden staircases bordered by concrete walls, and offer elegant bathrooms and large overhanging balconies. For the facades, a mixture of materials has been deployed, include red cedar, concrete and white stucco, around the many windows that allow natural light to enter freely from all directions.

Around the construction a series of courtyards, pathways and gardens blend with the natural surroundings, bound together in a luminous mosaic that also includes the still waters of an infinity pool with a length of 26 meters.

Most of the outdoor spaces have been furnished with chairs, sofas and tables from the Solanas collection by GandiaBlasco, in the special gold edition designed by the architect Daniel Germani, and with the iconic black Ensombra umbrellas created by Odosdesign.
