Since its founding in 1982 the brand has produced its creations in a responsible way, applying sustainable processes that generate energy savings. Gibus is an ambassador of Made in Italy in the world, through products that are the result of a mixture of technological innovation, sartorial excellence and aesthetics.
The sales network relies on a strategic business model based on the Gibus Ateliers, over 1000 authorized dealers and selected partners. Last year this led to reported sales of 40.9 million euros.

The company presently has 45 patented technical solutions. Their design is done by an in-house creative team, but also in partnership with well-known design firms, such as the Milan-based studio Meneghello Paolelli Associati. The partnership has led to outstanding results: the Nodo sun awning has won the iF Design Award. This is an awning with arms, a housing and LED lighting, attached to the wall or the ceiling, an evolution of the Duck model.

This is not the only award won by the brand in recent years. We should also mention the insertion in the ADI Design Index for the products Med Luce and Duck, the latter of which has also received the Red Dot Design Award 2017.

Available in two versions – at an angle of 90° – they are available for use as single or multiple modules, ensuring versatility for use in various types of settings.
