Giorgio Collection will be one of the protagonists of Interior Mebel, the fair of furnishings, lighting and interior decorating held in Kiev from 5 to 9 February. In coordination with the first day of the event, the company also opens a new space of 350 m2 in the Ukrainian capital.
“The participation at Interier Mebel 2020 marks the return of Giorgio Collection to a privileged position on the Ukrainian market,” Export Manager Riccardo Vergombello told IFDM. Though the brand avoids concentrating its sales in a single market, it meets with great success in the countries of Eastern Europe: “We are forecasting growth in 2020, especially in the Ukraine, where there are positive signals of a rebound.”
The booth is divided into four areas: living, dining, office – with the Charisma collection – and the Infinity bedroom. The series created by Castello Lagravinese Studio is composed of over 60 items, conceived to furnish every space in the home with elegance and refinement, combining Italian craftsmanship and contemporary details. Charisma stands out for the use of gilded steel, bringing together Black Bubinga, a rare African wood, and nubuk leather; it also features Grigio Alpi marble, a perfect choice of the tops of tables, chests of drawers, vanities and handles.
The Infinity bedroom offers delicate nuances that bring out the precious details of the individual pieces. At the center, the bed of the collection (available in queen, king and European king sizes), with details based on Art Deco. The setting is completed by the vanity desk, with an ottoman and a mirror, table and floor lamps, and a bench in nubuk to place at the foot of the bed.
Giorgio Collection takes part in Interior Mebel with the local partner Dom Mebeli, but this is not the only fair where it is exhibiting: “The appointments for 2020 will be the Salone del Mobile.Milano, Crocus Expo and Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow. Finally, we will open showrooms in Odessa and Lviv, both with an area of 150 m2,” Vergombello concludes.
