New Agape spaces in Porto and Stuttgart

Agape is looking abroad, consolidating its image and presence with two new exhibition spaces.
The company’s new showroom, Miolo Design, designed by Camilla Benedini, recently opened in Portugal, housed in a completely renovated former bakery in Porto.
Here, the large area devoted to Agape takes centre stage, with an eloquent selection of bathtubs, sinks and unique compositions. The exhibition is spread across two floors connected by a staircase that leads to the first floor via a large square cut in the floor. The concept of “gutting” is continually evoked by the ground floor ceiling, which features alternating black square panels and lighting points by Davide Groppi.

The company’s move towards internationalization was further consolidated last September with another opening: the new Agape20 flagship store in Stuttgart, opened in the futuristic European district of the city, Europaviertel. The space/project – created by Simone Kilian and Dennis Lieberwirth, who blended design, exclusivity and the brand’s quality – also offers a design service and presents a wide range of Agape products and iconic products from Agapecasa’s Mangiarotti Collection.
In the courtyard, shared by Klaus Maier Steinkonzepte, PSLab and Agape20, customers and architects can take further inspiration from the high quality of these brands’ products.
“It is a showroom dedicated to bathroom furnishings and accessories,” explained Kilian and Lieberwirth, “which fully reflects our standards, both in terms of quality and creative authenticity. It dares to challenge itself by rethinking the concept of living, always placing emphasis on functionality and aesthetics.”
