La Murrina and the colours of Sicily

Sicily is the first collection signed by Roberto Serio in cooperation with La Murrina.

A cradle of heterogeneous cultures, a land rich with contradictions, Sicily inspires the whole collection. The two colour variants, red-gold or black-gold, depict Mount Etna's shades of lava, recalling the stages of eruption and consolidation.

An important detail is represented by velvet, which covers the central body, softening the shapes of the blown-glass elements, modelled by master glass-makers in Murano.

A majestic 36-light chandelier discloses a collection which also includes table lamps, appliqués and floor lamps. Conceived to provide the greatest flexibility and to adapt to rooms with different height levels, the chandelier is characterised by an overturned-triangle shape. It is composed of three sections, each one with a different diameter, and can be fractioned to meet any specific requirement.
