Flos, Prague destination

Within the new, international design hub in Holešovice neightborhood (Prague), Flos opened its first single-brand showroom in the city. Konsepti – historical partner in Slovakia and Czech Republic – enhances and promotes the brand not only to the public, but also to design and architecture professionals.

The inauguration beckons over 400 attedees among press, lighting designers, vips and architects, also thanks to the special installation curated by the London-based – hailing from Cyprus – Michael Anastassiades. He also created for the brand the String Lights, icon suspansion lamps displayed within the exhibition space close to the HomeArchitetturale and Outdoor collections.

The lighting systems  have a creative dialogue with surrounded environments, on account of  the worthy combination between tradition and innovation, history and modernism, typical features of the products as well as the space.  The showroom occupied two floors, the ground and the first level of a former factory in Holport.

Expanding city with unforseen features, the Czech capital is a landmark in terms of new openings. So, Piero Gandini – CEO of the company – affirms: «The opening of our first showroom in Prague makes me very happy. The Czech Republic is a market with huge development potential for Flos, in both the residential and contract sectors, and Prague is a storied city brimming with cultural activity and edgy creativity. I am sure that an enthusiastic and expert team like Konsepti is perfect to promote the brand design here».
