The booming Wanders-Poliform duo conquers London

The London Design District, one of Europe’s most active and in the forefront from 24 to 26 May during Design Week, was bound to dedicate an area in which to showcase the original creations born of the collaboration between Poliform and Marcel Wanders. The Church of the Order of St. John, located in the heart of the Clerkenwell district, is a special location in which the brilliant  work of one of the most acclaimed designers in the world, created with the excellence and knowhow of Polifiorm, is presented to visitors.  A perfect complement to the living area, the Wanders’ Mad collection has an addition: Joker is an inviting armchair, which completely envelopes  and perfectly conforms to the human body. Two structural versions are available: one version features wood legs (in Spessart oak, ash grey oak or black elm) and another has a rotating base in die-cast aluminium. lacquered in gunmetal grey, shiny or mat nickel brown).

The Mad Queen and King armchairs are the royal couple of this collection. They respectively follow the feminine and masculine form, perfectly complementing other items thanks to the counter position of modernity, decisiveness and irony that distinguishes all the Dutch designer’s creations.

The dining table, minimal with wooden legs and a polished, shiny marble top, creates a perfect environment together with the matching chairs, upholstered in the quilted fabric of the previously mentioned Queen.

The Mad Dining Table  is adapted to create the smaller Coffe Table, while the last item, none other than the Chaise Longue  defines the entire collection- a feminine icon that imparts extreme elegance to the surroundings.
