In the encounter between the architectural mastery of Pininfarina Architecture and the artistic sensitivity of Patrick Tuttofuoco, an extraordinary work was born that challenges the boundaries between design, art and nature. Curated by Maddalena d’Alfonso, the Resto dell’Alba (The Rest of the Dawn) is the result of a unique collaboration, in which Pininfarina’s elegance and vision blend with Tuttofuoco’s artistic expressiveness, creating an installation that transforms twilight into a timeless aesthetic experience which merges the frontiers of the physical and the digital, creating an art form that interprets hyper-technology through the use of physical materials.

The collaboration between Pininfarina and Tuttofuoco sees light as the undisputed protagonist. Each lighting element is carefully designed, following the principle of scrupulous design to create a gentle illumination that envelops viewers in a surreal atmosphere. Light is not only functional, but becomes an expressive medium that shapes space and defines the sensory experience.

On the one hand, the elegant design of Pininfarina Architecture, a firm known for its prominence in automotive design, is manifested in the pure form and flowing lines that characterise the installation. Each architectural element is designed to blend in with its surroundings, creating a harmonious dialogue between the structure and its environment. On the other hand, Patrick Tuttofuoco, an artist known for his installations that play with human perception and interaction, brings a touch of magic to the work. His artistic sensibility is reflected in the intricate details, nuances of light and skilful use of materials. Through art, Tuttofuoco brings the structure to life, inviting viewers to explore and connect with the work in a unique way.

The choice of materials is a central aspect of the installation: Pininfarina brings its expertise in selecting high-quality materials, while Tuttofuoco contributes its vision to integrate tactile and sensory elements. The fusion of glass, steel and organic materials creates a visual and tactile synergy, transforming the structure into a three-dimensional work of art.

The installation is not static; it is a temporal narrative that evolves with the passing of twilight. The collaboration between Pininfarina and Tuttofuoco is not limited to the initial design, but embraces the dynamism of time and natural light.

In this collaboration, architecture and art come together in twilight harmony, transporting viewers on a unique journey through light, form and emotion. A work that not only celebrates twilight, but introduces a new era of connection between man and his surroundings.
