Baxter’s cosmopolitan character is revealed not only through its collections, which speak the universal language of modern elegance, but also through its constant expansion to the most diverse markets and latitudes.
The company has affirmed its important garrison in the Chinese area with two new openings, in Zhengzhou and Xi’an. Two showrooms different in concept, but not in soul that intends to enhance the brand’s recent collections.
Opened in collaboration with ZhuoXin Home, the Zhengzhou monobrand surrounds itself with intense, dark and immersive tones. Set against this dreamlike backdrop are sets for the living and sleeping areas, in total chromatic harmony. It is the large systems such as Budapest Soft, Milano, Viktor and Miami Soft that stand out as protagonists – but there is no shortage of icons like the Chester Moon sofa – surrounded by a constellation of complements that embrace them, including the Icaro and Calix coffee tables, the Libelle bookcase, and the Dharma stools. The Baxter home ideal is completed with the Grace table for dining, and the Stone bed that dominates the sleeping area.
Of a different scope, however, is the store in Xi’an and opened in collaboration with Song Casa. A neutral, candid, delicate palette sets the pace of the setting, in the architecture as much as in the decoration, so in the interior. Baxter’s furnishings allow themselves to be enveloped in pastel tones, in finishes and upholstery, as shown by the Clara sofa and Pilar side tables, the Himani G rug, the Nepal armchair or the Milano bed.
Two showrooms, two faces of the same coin.
