But the accessories for the night zone also include pillows, mattresses and duvets, where research on raw materials moves towards solutions that are increasingly ecological, hypoallergenic, antibacterial and breathable. The new mattresses even call a scientific approach into play, working on layering for products that offer constant wellbeing, in line with the philosophy of healthy sleep.
We begin with the proposals for bedding, including the pillowcases and sheets in linen from the 2023 collection of Once Milano (on cover): the items stand out for their refined contrasting borders, available in a wide range of neutral colors or livelier tones for multiple combinations.
From the textile crafts tradition of Salento, two creations by Ferò, a symbol of Italian excellence: the decorative pillowcases and bedspreads of the Collezione Lino Limited Edition. The pure linen fabric is knotted by hand using a traditional technique from Salento, with yarns of the highest quality. Two lateral borders terminate in knotted fringes to form a decorative motif. The other two borders feature delicate visible hems. The same skills can be seen in the braided fringes placed at the center of the decorative pillowcases.
Santorini is a queen-size bedding set by Lanerossi in 100% linen, with a sunburst effect, of high iron-free quality, made with yarns from Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale. A prestigious product whose softness comes from a special washing treatment performed on the finished items. Linen provides restful sleep thanks to the highest levels of breathability found in nature.
La Suite collection by Somma1867 – known for its 360° bespoke services with custom solutions – has been expanded with new warm earth tones: the apricot orange hue stands out, combined with chocolate brown to create a refined effect – perfect for residential and hospitality settings.
Frette presents a set of cotton bedding and duvet covers in the Milk color, enhanced by the new Intreccio Embroidery in Savage Beige, with echoes of the artifacts of the Mediterranean tradition. The look is completed by the Luxury Earth bedspread and pillows in a fine cotton-silk blend jacquard weave, and the blanket in pure Milk cashmere with a suede border, all for an ensemble of natural, restful tones.
Mysterious spirals, trapezoids and triangles, gigantic animal figures that form a Peruvian landscape: these are the inspirations of the Nazca collection by Fazzini. The geoglyphs decorate the quilt cover and the pillowcases, the flounce of the sheets and the quilt, offered in six colors: beige, ochre, chocolate, pearl gray, copper and purple.
Next come the mattresses. Altrenotti, among the many offerings of the collection, presents Biorest MOOD and Biorest Country Living (with natural filler in Green Cotton, horsehair and THINDOWN®, the first true down fabric in the world). The Biorest line provides varied levels of support and rigidity, combining precious materials (like the blend of cashmere and bamboo) with high-tech substances that breathe, generating a sense of constant wellbeing.
