Contract Lab is the name of the design studio that has created the new Open. Hotel in Rimini, whose name reflects the spirit of the combined efforts of the interior design and furnishings firm LAGO and MAD051, specialized in the selection and distribution of materials and products for interior design. The lively Romagna nightlife can now rely on a structure developed and scaled for guests, with personalized services and spaces, welcoming atmospheres created with great attention to detail, also thanks to the collaboration of Contract Lab with Isabella Matteini.
The sensation of being in a secluded and perfectly formulated home matches the experience of a satisfying stay that also focuses on the quality of human relations. For this reason, the selected furnishings and high-tech materials respond to the functional requirements of guests, while defining the distinctive image of the facility.
Open. Hotel is a dynamic, sustainable and technological environment, where the concept of hospitality extends from workplace to luxury to lifestyle. The active center is the hall on the ground floor, where a visual and tactile pathway based on the use of centuries-old Wildwood connects the reception area, the bar and the breakfast room, taking on different functions in different zones.
A key role is also played by the co-working spaces, developed to boost concentration and teamwork, guaranteeing maximum privacy inside a context where the finishes selected by MAD051 Materials meet the lightness of LAGO furnishings, ready to transmit pleasant emotions and sensations.
The number of available rooms – just 36, including three suites with wellness areas – encourages intimacy and tranquility during a stay in the hotel. Each room has been created with a different mood, conveyed by a geometric patchwork and contemporary comfort driven by the dialogue between refined surfaces and facings and the recognizable style of design by LAGO. The protagonists are the Air and Fluttua beds joined by the N.O.W. storage solutions, which eliminate the perception of the wardrobe to give spaces a contemporary, elegant look.
