To create furnishings for outdoor use necessarily implies a special sensitivity in relation to nature, an aesthetic inspiration that functions as a framework, generating atmospheres in which to formulate various décor settings. The dialogue between design and the context en plein air is a constant, fertile interchange, even more so when the project has the aim of preserving and safeguarding nature itself, immersed in it for relaxation, dining or other moments of socializing. The ideal representation of this approach is the Leaf collection by Talenti. A line of outdoor furnishings created by Marco Acerbis that is totally ‘green’ in its spirit and its guise.
The designer has drawn on the world of flowers to trace the silhouettes of armchairs and sofas, whose structure suggests the petals of a blossom, emphasized by the weave in polypropylene cord: tempting and elegant, the pieces offer all the comfort of very soft cushions. Like a corolla supported by a slender stem, the feet raise the volume of the seat, giving it an overall sense of lightness.

Talenti, however, has taken the natural reference of the collection to extremes, dressing it in new sustainable materials to make its environmental impact almost zero, as the object-space relationship takes on a remarkable total harmony.
The covering is in a new 100% green fabric made by recycling post-consumer PET bottles; the material can also be recycled, in turn, at the end of the product’s life cycle. Following a philosophy of circular design, the range of fabrics is the result of a mechanical procedure, involving no chemical substances, with a smaller number of steps in the manufacturing.
Likewise, the structure of the various pieces in the collection – various seating elements, large and small tables – is in aluminium: a material specifically chosen for its durability in outdoor settings, but also for its virtue of being 100% recyclable, reused in multiple ways to create infinite opportunities. The path of sustainability of the Leaf line is completed by the tops of the dining and coffee tables.

Talenti has applied a surface in Vitter, a layered compact laminate of the new generation, produced with paper made with FSC certified cellulose and without the use of added glues or resins, making it recyclable and extremely practical.
