Teamwork carried out by Scavolini and Vittore Niolu, perceptive observers of the evolution of contemporary living. Convinced that the design approach to domestic spaces has to be totally flexible, down to the smallest details, to meet the different needs of every person. The result is the Formalia collection, unconventional and modular, ready to perfectly interpret the contemporary home, including the kitchen area – as ever the protagonist – the living room, and soon the bath environment as well. Its essence of form and material is a true strong point to enhance stylistically minimal, elegant spaces with maximum functional quality.

Two elements form the fulcrum of the design: the shaped doors with metal handles, capable of creating a game of rigorous, clean lines, and the Status wall system, a modular open structure that can be inserted in the kitchen configuration, or freely installed as a divider between adjacent rooms. The latter augments the game of symmetries, implementing the concept of “total visibility” with constantly varied combinations, even making it possible to create a handy office zone inside the home.

Whatever the necessities, these two factors trigger a regular aesthetic rhythm and versatile development of differentiated solutions. A true interpretation of the home system through furnishings coordinated in terms of function, where every element – bookcases, storage units made to measure, modular furnishings and desks – finds its ideal position in extensively personalized settings, offering perfect organization of space.

Scavolini focuses on experimentation that always leads to innovation. Playing with finishes to reflect the personality of the user in all its facets. The Titanio color, for example, creates elegant chromatic connections between hanging cabinets, handles, baseboards and structure in the Status wall system.

The same is true of the refined black and rust tones, which together with the lacquer version, or in recycled PET for the doors, permit mixing and matching. An explosion of hues, for a private realm that conveys a personal mood, from Verde Ottanio to Ruggine, Ferro, Vulcano and Airone grays to Laminato Beach and Botticino Unicolor.
