The movers behind R | O| O| M are two companies that believe in synergy and the value of networking, Dornbracht and Kaldewei, which have called in contractors and firms like GPA Works, Telmotor, Carimati, Ceramica Sant’Agostino, as well as three design studios, MIROarchitetti, giovannimontessorostudio dA, Randomdesign, to develop three model hotel rooms, pre-engineered and already priced.
For families on trips, MIROarchitetti proposes Green&Family, a vacation mini-home with a serene, natural atmosphere, like the materials utilized – jute, hemp, wood – with divided spaces for all, flexible furnishings suitable for adults and kids, and colors ranging from white to green, beige to brown.
The Smart room, designed by giovannimontessorostudio dA, is for the Bleisure segment of travelers (Business & Leisure), focusing on the needs of those who travel for work and digital nomads, in a flexible, dynamic and comfortable environment, with all the necessary functional details. The forceful colors and simple materials that are easy to maintain, like metal, emphasize the technological spirit of the room. The “smart bed” contains a desk in the headboard, with perfect natural and/or artificial lighting, using built-in fixtures and suspension lamps.
Randomdesign has created the Wellness Room, for total wellbeing of travelers, in a soft atmosphere to boost mental and physical regeneration of guests. The focus is on the emotional sphere, with careful selection of colors and lighting. The concept of luxury emerges in a functional dimension alongside the purely aesthetic choices, with upholstered furnishings, cushions, drapes and other features in an enveloping design.
