Explore, Learn and Network at Sleep & Eat 2019

Sleep & Eat returns to London Olympia on 19th – 20th November. With an increase of 24% in international visitors last year, the ambitious 2019 programme already scales new heights and is set fair to live up to the show’s reputation as Europe’s leading hospitality design and innovation event

This year, Sleep & Eat comprises an international exhibition showcasing the latest design-led products, from over 160 suppliers, a free-to-attend Conference, Development Roundtables where visitors can talk one-on-one with industry leaders and a number of inspirational pop-ups designed uniquely for the event.

The Conference will feature game-changers from around the globe, such as directors of Standard International, Rocco Forte Hotels and NeueHouse. Panels will include much respected hotel operators tackling this year’s theme of “Social FlexAbility”, while foremost influencers will share their insights on creating eco hotels, sustainability and the importance of community. The Conference is also promising to take delegates to the outer reaches of hospitality. ‘Above and Below’ will consider designing hotels in space and underwater in discussions between several of the world’s outstanding pioneers.

One of the event’s favourites are the concept room Sets, designed afresh each year. Six international design and architecture firms are now fine-tuning their vision for concept room installations, aiming to deliver thought-provoking, inspiring and experiential Sets in response to the theme. They are: twenty2degrees, HAT Design, Maria Tibblin & Co and Miaja Design Group, who are each designing a guestroom, and SpaceInvader and NAME Architecture who are designing a bar and a restaurant respectively. Other pop-up spaces will include The Sleeper Bar, The Hub and the VIP Lounge.
