The show is about to begin.
With the passing of the canonical twelve months after the previous Salone, characterised by growth in the furnishing and design sector, enhanced by IFDM’s positive energy (which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017), the Rho stage is ready to host the new edition of Salone del Mobile, Milan.
Over the last few months, the run up to the 57th edition has been shrouded in an apparent calm, but what we are about to see in the next few pages and above all experience at the Milan Design Week will prove the exact opposite.

Seven days to savour the flavour of 120 years of Giorgetti, the tradition and vision of the Minotti family, celebrating 70 years of success and 20 years of collaboration with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, Porada which also turns 70 and Fendi in the Home… but also, perhaps above all, the anniversary of an object which has revolutionised the concept of sleep. 40 years on the crest of the wave: a sign of impeccable quality and the start of a second life for Nathalie created by the masterful Vico Magistretti and the visionary Rosario Messina who first decided to dress all his beds back in 1978.
2018 is brimming with important celebrations and characterised by the affirmation of major brands which have made history at Salone del Mobile, Milan.

This year we have Eurocucina and the International Bathroom Exhibition in support of the latest Design and furnishing innovations.

Protagonists are located in six pavilions where they will showcase innovative and technological proposals to satisfy consumer requirements of tomorrow.

If you feel as though you have returned to pavilion 5, don’t worry, everything is as it should be. As of this year, Poliform is valid for living, bedroom and naturally kitchen interiors.
