Paola Lenti returns to the Monaco Yacht Show

It is the ultimate event devoted to superyachts, undoubtedly made even more exclusive by the fact that it is hosted by none other than the Principality of Monaco. The very best of luxury yachting goes on display at the Monaco Yacht Show: floating houses, or even villas, that compete in terms of length, decks, interiors and amenities.
This year’s edition, held from 28 September to 1 October, emphasized the event’s leading role (with the launch of 46 new superyachts) and reconfirmed the successful partnership – underway for several years – between the show and the Paola Lenti brand.

In collaboration with Sabrina Monte-Carlo, the brand’s official distributor in the Principality, Paola Lenti furnished the Upper Deck Lounge.
The central area of the Monegasque exposition will display many new products of the 2016 outdoor collection: the Ola seating, flexible and unconventional, and the easy, yet elegant sofas Kabà, dressed in white and aquamarine hues. More, the Sciara side tables with tops in lava stone enhanced with transparent, fluid colours and a thin, natural craquelé effect, and the Portofino folding chairs and tables, a perfect balance between fabric, heartwood and natural stone.
There is a tangible affinity between the two enterprises: many of the new yachts presented at the event were also furnished with chairs, rugs and outdoor accessories.

Port Hercules welcomed 125 ships, with an overall value of 2.7 billion euro, and a total of 580 exhibiting companies and partners, including builders, yacht designers and manufacturers from 38 countries.
«Looking back to 1991 when the very fi rst edition of the Monaco Yacht Show was held, there were just 1,147 yachts larger than 30 metres in the global superyacht fl eet. The superyacht market has grown drastically in the last 26 years, easily demonstrated by the fact that today, there are 4473 yachts lar- ger than 30 metres in the global superyacht fl eet, of which 84% is a motor yacht and 16% a sailing yacht – explains the Organization – This year the Monaco Yacht Show will present the breaking-record of 46 new superyachts. Considering that on average per year there are around 150 new superyachts delivered, of which a vast number are reserved for private use only and never presented to the public, this impressive number confi rms the importance of the Show for shipyards and industry professio- nals to display their new products».
