Las Vegas, the kingdom of hospitaliy

Everything is always new and sparkly in Las Vegas, and HD Expo is not the exception, even when it celebrates its 25th anniversary. One of the most awaited exhibitions in the hospitality field, the three-day event is hosted by the luxurious Mandalay Bay, from May, 4 to 6. The current edition, including multiple novelties, aims to overtake the record figures of last year, which reached quota 10,000 attendees – a 10% increase over 2014.

A wide range of exhibitors animates the scene, while conferences and debates follow one another. Professionals from all over the world choose Nevada desert as meeting point in order to explore hospitality industry, starting from the manufacturers’ services to the most recent products and novelties.  Large resonance has the presence of Italian collectives, as Italian Contract that includes a selection of Made in Italy, excellent brands.

A special position is dedicated to Niki Leondakis: the CEO of Commune Hotels+Resorts  will have the inauguration speech of HD Expo, sharing her visionary talent with the public.

Supported by Emerald Expositions and presented by Hospitality Design magazine, the exhibition provides a parterre of events enhanced by debates and installations, in occasion of its important birthday. From Those Were the Days: Veterans Weigh In to Owners’ Roundtable, stimulating talks contribute to entertain the attendees; the first brings together industry icons as Michael Bender (HBA), Adam D. Tihany (Tihany Design), David Beer (HOK) and Tony Chi (tonychi) in order to offer a general vision about how the way of doing business has changed over time. Owners’ Roundtable gathers 35 speakers to discuss new projects and ideas, rotating every 10 minutes. IFDM reached HD Expo with the Contract&Hospitality Book | SpringSummer, in distribution during the event, also with the May edition entirely dedicated to American market.
