SingaPlural – among the most anticipated exhibitions of the Singapore Design Week – has published the numbers of its fifth edition, which took place between March 7-13: 28,000 specialists of the sector, over 100 designers and 20 international and local brands. These data confirm the key role of the event within the international panorama of design, considering also the number of participating countries.
Organized by the Design Council Singapore, the seven-day event is gaining more importance: designers, architects and companies have expressed their full satisfaction, pointing out the many opportunities created, especially in terms of marketing and branding.
"We decided to participate for the first time to SingaPlural to take advantage of the expansion of the event that each edition involves a wide audience," says Simon Cheong – Business Developer Director of Hafary, who has collaborated with Wy-To architects in the Title It Up installation.
The theme Senses: the art and science of experiences gathered creative experiences related to sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste, offering multiple suggestive initiatives.
High expectations for the future, the President Mark Yong says: "I hope SingaPlural continues to work with leading global and local brands, leading emerging talents of Asian design to encourage business growth and confirm the role of Singapore as a hub for regional design."
