Pedrali in the limelight

Pedrali makes its debut at HD Expo. The unique synergy with the American market is mainly due to projects. Want to experience it? Book a table at the restaurant Lago in Las Vegas!

Pedrali’s first experience on the American scene is an important one. The company from Mornico al Serio chooses HD Expo Las Vegas to enter the market of hospitality overseas. A strategic choice since both the exhibition and the city are representative of the sector.
The company itself is no less impressive. Founded in Italy 56 years ago, it has strengthened its presence in the world of design (including hotels, restaurants, offices and retail businesses, as well as educational and cultural space) by creating collections – in collaboration with renowned figures of the international creative scene – that can be placed in the residential scenario and in the multi-faceted context of projects, boasting the highest quality and resistance standards stated by the numerous certifications obtained. Even the outdoor array of proposals has been expanded and enhanced, in synergy with the demands of the sector.

The creations dedicated to outdoor spaces take pride of place within the exhibition area at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas (Booth 4461). The Tribeca collection (designed by CMP Design) stands out with its assortment of colors against the backdrop dominated by a teal nuance.

And Remind (by Eugeni Quitllet) which, thanks to its functionality and versatility, can adapt to both outdoor and indoor contexts; thanks also to its formal approach which becomes an essential feature, recalling the soft curves of wooden chairs from the late nineteenth century.

The combination of past and future define Pedrali’s design, but also the company’s identity, which draws its energy from history to project itself into a dimension of constant innovation. “As the first chair manufacturer in Italy and as a brand operating in the hospitality world for over 56 years, Pedrali is characterized by the high quality of its products that are durable and extremely comfortable; it is also renowned for its certifications and for the wide range of its collections – explains Monica Pedrali, CEO of the company – All these features make our products perfect for the American market, which are very important for us. In addition to telling our story through our products, HD Expo is an excellent opportunity to tell our roots: our history began over 56 years ago with Mario Pedrali in a blacksmith’s workshop that, over the years, has turned into a brand that employs 280 people and now has two locations, led by his sons, me and my brother Giuseppe. Pedrali’s story is a family story”.

The Ester armchair, a best seller of the company designed by Patrick Jouin to furnish the restaurants of star chef Alain Ducasse, couldn’t miss Las Vegas’ exhibition. An icon loved and admired also in the ‘Sin City’: Ester was in fact chosen to furnish the dining room of the Lago restaurant, the first Italian restaurant by starred chef Julian Serrano, overlooking the Bellagio Resort & Casinò’s fountains. The formal refined elegance and enveloping warmth emphasized by shades of beige and brown are integrated into the concept of the restaurant (designed by Studio Munge of Toronto) inspired by Italian futurism: mirror chrome details, blue and white decorative elements, backlit optical white panels that create overlapping effects throughout the ceiling that continue along the walls.

Pedrali’s first appearance at HD Expo is a step in the consolidation of the brand within the American market – the brand’s collections also furnish some of the most important buildings in the States such as the Morgan Library & Museum in New York or the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis designed by Jean Nouvel.
A path that will see a further evolution in June with the first participation of Pedrali in NeoCon Chicago.
“Pedrali has been exporting to America and Canada for 45 years. For most of our customers, it is also the second generation. This demonstrates our deep-rooted presence on the market – concludes Monica Pedrali – The mere fact of investing in two exhibitions in the United States, HD Expo in Las Vegas and Neocon in Chicago, expresses the strong interest of Pedrali and the intention to support our growth in the territory.
