At its 13th edition, Kiff – Kiev International Furniture Forum is confirmed as fundamental meeting-point in Eastern Europe for architects, designers, distributors and other professional figures. The Ukraine fair, in the KyivExpoPlaza area, overtook 23.000 visitors from all over the world. 320 companies from 7 foreign countries presented their collections to the public, busy in the 50 collateral events.
Partner of the fair, organized in collaboration with Ukranian Furniture Manufactures Association, is FederlegnoArredo Eventi, which ensures high standard contents and promoted the Italian collective with brands as Appiani, Caminetti, Marazzi, Giorgio Collection, Keoma, Zanini Mobili and Smania. European style is guaranteed by a bond between contemporary state and Russian influence, closed to classicism.
Moreover, the present edition reccomended interesting news inside the events parterre: firstly, Kitchen TrendSet, the communication platform which, in the format of discussions and conferences, presented the trends of a modern kitchen were identified. Follows INTERIUM Interior International Prize, sponsorized by Kyiv International Contract Fair and the Milanese HoReCa Workshop, focused on creativity of local and international talents. Above the attendees, winners have been Viktoriia Shkliar and Olha Antontseva for 7NebO’s project, designers Arsen Kostyshyn, Kateryna Lutsiuk and Oles Tseliukh with Classic Cottage, finally SVOYA Studio for Lounge Zone.
Thus, Artspace – the contest among the residential and public premises – is an innovative space with installations by Ukrainan top designers on Public and Residential Interior. Also, KIFF&Salon Design Awards – the only contest held in Ukraine for the public spaces interiors – surprised everyone with the quality and creativity of the submitted works.
