Florence Collections. The essence of quality

Suprême: as supreme as its stylistic and formal research, as sublime as the quality of its materials and, above all, as elevated as its meticulous workmanship and carefully studied details. This is the new collection signed by Florence Collections being previewed for the first time at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. An exclusive product line designed for furnishing living rooms, «spaces that are shared every day with family and friends – explains company owner Carlo Cappellini – Comfortable sofas and chairs, convivial dining rooms and functional furnishings will be presented in four well-defined areas, just like a real domestic environment».

The spirit of conviviality and the pleasure associated with one’s home are reflected in products which enhance its qualities, elegance and discreet luxury, in line with the stylistic concept of previous collections – that is to say, inspired by the Art Deco style. Suprême expresses formal, material and chromatic differentiations. «An evolution we have implemented to provide a response to those markets which an increasingly accentuated globalization has lumped together with regard to the interpretation and stylistic identification of products».

Hence the new wood varieties such as Eucalyptus Frise, Tanganyika and Erable, which steal the scene when teamed up with precious new marble finishes, laser decorated and embellished by luminous finishes. What remains unchanged is a design philosophy that puts the accent on the highly skilled manual craftsmanship of the Florence Collections, firmly rooted in the Tuscan tradition on which it was founded (in 1972) and continues to draw its lifeblood.  «It is important for us to valorise the “artisanal workshop”, by which I do not mean a self-contained organism, but a nucleus in which different cultural and artistic backgrounds can mingle and interact, a melting pot of ideas that dialogues with the world».

And with a view to increasing its international activities, the company has focused its sights particularly on China, a market Florence Collections is addressing with a specifically targeted strategy: new showroom openings in the most important cities, a search for qualified distributors and a direct local presence. But also thanks to the new technologies which are making the world less distant and more accessible:  in fact a new Florence Collections app is now available in English and Chinese for Smartphone and tablet. For downloading onto Apple and Android systems, it interfaces with the online site of the company and main social networks; an interactive and dynamic system enabling the consultation of catalogues, the viewing of products and novelties and the provision of customer services, to engage an ever growing public in an original mix of tradition and modernity.
