A game of geometry and light results in the new Formelle line by Cimento, designed by Elisa Ossino and winner of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023. Three pure geometric forms – circle, square and rectangle – become three-dimensional tiles, in the models Tondo, Canton and Querini, to generate vibrant chiaroscuro passages generated by the various reliefs. Surfaces clad with these tiles present a slightly brutalist look, enhanced by the range of colors that explores a spectrum of neutral earth tones.
The collection’s innovative character is not based only on its design, but also on the material composition, where Cimento® is the exclusive formula. Selected by the Osservatorio Permanente del Design of ADI for the Design Index 2020, Cimento® is a patented cementitious material based on a compound containing over 90% mineral aggregates derived from production waste produced by large quarries.
