The world of design evolves in step with the times and the progress of the digital dimension, and the same is true of the retail sector. A new frontier of experience with display, design and shopping is called Deco Hub, a platform that changes the approach to design, both for professionals and for consumers, thanks to technology. It is a wide-ranging digital showcase that highlights sector brands and their collections (together with all the correlated information and the possibility of making purchases from the e-shops of the individual companies), with the advantages of virtual reality, which offers new ways of exploring products or even of designing interiors: thanks to artificial intelligence, viewers pass from the conceptualization of spaces to 3D visual representation, at a high level of technical and artistic quality, leading to an experience of full immersion.
Taking part in the project, SolidNature is a Dutch brand specialized in working with natural stone, which on the Deco Hub digital platform has presented its interactive showroom of surfaces titled “Elemental House.” The company’s objective is not only to demonstrate the multiple possibilities of natural stone through the equally infinite potential of the digital realm, but also to engage in a project that represents the brand’s solid commitment to sustainability: “This innovative initiative is in line with our ethic of respect for the environment, and it permits us to highlight the beauty of the stone without extracting it from the ground – says David Mahyari, CEO of SolidNature. – Simulating the cutting and applications of stone inside the virtual installation, we redefine the physical design, creating distinctive spaces for living.”
From large residential spaces to interior transformations on a smaller scale, and from outdoor applications to internal details, the project of SolidNature demonstrates the versatility of natural stone for a wide variety of settings. “Elemental House” is its synthesis and its concrete representation: in a virtual space, a cube of stone is transformed into a house, emulating the intricate process of stone cutting, breaking up and reassembling in different domestic situations. In particular, the design of the bedroom stands out for a vibrant Molten Honey CombOnyx, while the complete bathroom incorporates Cloud Whisper Onyx with backlit walls, adding depth to the overall atmosphere.
“Elemental House” has been created in collaboration with the architect and 3D artist Alba de la Fuente, who has formulated a true residential space, combining digital techniques with art, architecture and nature.
