Between the legendary charm of Miami, Florida’s most famous city, and an exceptional offering of products for the world of sailing, from 15 to 19 February 2023 Discover Boating – Miami International Boat Show is the world’s most important event of its kind, a must for all boat lovers and professionals in the luxury yachting sector.
“This year, our show will offer guests a unique opportunity to experience a one-of-a-kind event with various activations that combine elements of live entertainment, marine education, and luxury boating products,” says Andrew Doole, President of U.S. Boat Shows which produces the event with Informa Markets.
As in the past, the Miami International Boat Show, Miami Yacht Show and SuperYacht Miami attract over 100,000 visitors from about 35 countries. All together, they constitute Discover Boating – Miami International Boat Show.
Besides the new proposals of vessels and equipment for navigation – in the sections Cruisers Yachts, Nauticstar, Intrepid Powerboats, Pursuit Boats, Solara, Scout Boats, and others – the fair also presents new, exciting displays of superyachts, fishing seminars for kids and a pavilion entirely set aside for accessories.
The big event takes place in a number of different locations: the Miami Beach Convention Center (boats up to 160 meters), Herald Plaza (up to 410 meters), Venetian Marina (with an area for testing over 150 vessels), Museum Park Marina (sailboats and catamarans), Yacht Haven Grande Miami (superyachts) and Pride Park.
The latter area, outside the Miami Beach Convention Center, offers entertainment zones for the Boat Show Experience, included in the standard entry ticket. Here guests also have access to many aquatic sports, thanks to the Nautical Ventures AquaZone.
Gastronomy is also an important focus: guests can enjoy culinary experiences, with cocktails and innovative repasts provided by international partners like Budweiser, Goslings and Diageo (the group whose portfolio includes brands like Tanqueray, Johnny Walker, Ketel One and Crown Royal).
Finally, visitors who choose the Windward VIP Experience, the special VIP ticket, gain further possibilities to explore the city, with full-day guided tours at Art Wynwood, the contemporary art fair organized in this district of Miami, featuring works by the most important street artists in the world.
