A strategic location for Alpine chic design, welcoming and functional, responsible in terms of environmental and social sustainability. These are the attributes of a panoramic and virtuous high-altitude retreat destined to become a reference point for the most demanding lovers of the mountainous zones of Lombardy. The Dimora degli Dei Luxury Hotel & Spa stands directly on a ski trail, halfway between the valley of Livigno and Vallaccia, in a location – Passo d’Eria – that is also the highest residential settlement in Italy.

Entirely coordinated by Studio Olzer, the project utilizes eco-sustainable materials and construction techniques, establishing a dialogue with the mountain context: clear lines and discreet forms shape an enclosure entire clad in wood, with breathable high-resistance thermal coatings, and a glazed wing that reveals the living space while contributing to regulate temperature.

In keeping with this approach, all the paved surfaces, as well as the facings for the walls of the restrooms, corridors and several communal zones, rely on application of porcelain stoneware solutions by Ceramiche Refin, a pioneering company in the field of sustainable ceramics.

The Foil collection has been utilized in three different colors – Aluminium, Titanium and Burnished – and in various formats. Modern surfaces with an evocative ‘textured’ and glowing effect, perfectly in line with the latest interior design trends, which interrupt the dominance of wood while matching its warmth, with a retro and post-industrial allure capable of summing up the expressive power of porcelain stoneware and the charm of handcrafted metals.

In the spa area – redesigned by the studio Bulgarelli – the porcelain stoneware takes on the stone effect of the Tune collection, in the Rock color variant: a combination of stone materials from different areas in northern Europe, selected and mixed to create patterns and shadings of strong but also natural impact.

Delicate veins, small grainy and sandy surfaces blend in a collection available in large and medium formats, to bring out the balance of the surfaces, adorning any type of space with discreet elegance.
